BFDOT4 Brake Fluid

This technology provides super boiling points when compared to standard brake fluid technologies. Our product is imported from a high tech facility in Germany and meets with all of the stringent European safety requirements. This fluid also meets many of the more advanced super DOT 4 brake fluid systems.

APPLICATION:

Motolube DOT 4 Brake Fluid conforms to the requirements for the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 116 for DOT 4 for motor Vehicle Brake Fluid.

This product also meets the specifications of SAE J-1703

  • The product is indicated for use in all applications requiring standard brake fluid systems.
  • The high boiling point of this product makes it suitable for heavy duty application requiring high boiling points.
  • Motolube DOT 4 Brake Fluid contains exceptionally efficient corrosion inhibitor systems that provide unique anti-corrosion properties that are particularly suitable for applications under high atmospheric humidity.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS:

Brake Fluid systems based on glycol ether are generally highly hygroscopic, because of the safety critical nature of the application the system needs suitable and regular maintenance. This can be achieved by annual replacement of brake fluid (especially in coastal, high humidity conditions.)
